- not seen in decades
- herbaceous perennial vine with milky sap
- leaves opposite, on short stalks, narrowly lanceolate or triangular
- much like arrowleaf milkvine (Matelea sagittifolia)
- in arrowleaf milkvine, the corona is thickened or unlobed or very shallowly lobed
- in Falfurrias milkvine, the corona is prominently lobed, the 5 lobes thin but 2 mm long
